  • 2 c
  • 2 Tbsp
    brown sugar
  • 2 tsp
    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp
  • 2 large
  • 1 c
    sour cream
  • 1 1/2 c
  • 1/4 c
    melted butter
  • 2
    ripe bananas, mashed

How to Make Banana Sour Cream Pancakes


  1. Combine flour, brown sugar, baking powder, baking soda and salt. In a separate bowl, combine eggs, sour cream, milk and melted butter.
  2. Add dry ingredients and stir in mashed bananas.
  3. Heat oiled skillet or griddle over medium high heat. Pour 1/4 cup batter per pancake onto skillet. Cook 2 to 3 minutes until undersides are lightly browned. Turn and cook 2 more minutes.
  4. Serve with maple syrup.
