This is an awesome Oatmeal recipe. When I go to Quilt Camp (no, I don't quilt, but I scrapbook), I love it when the owner of the resort makes it for breakfast. My niece now makes it for Christmas breakfast.

How to Make BAKED OATMEAL

Step-by-Step

  1. CREAM SUGAR AND BUTTER. ADD EGGS. BEAT. STIR IN SALT, BAKING POWDER AND OATMEAL. ADD MILK. POUR INTO GREASED CASSEROLE (2 QUART) DISH. SPRINKLE WITH BROWN SUGAR AND CINNAMON. BAKE UNCOVERED, AT 300 DEGREES FOR 45 MINUTES.
  2. NUTS, RAISINS OR OTHER DRIED FRUIT TASTE GREAT IN THIS DISH. EVEN DELICIOUS THE NEXT MORNING REHEATED!
