This is an easy twist on French toast. My kids loved it.

Ingredients

  • 6 cups bread, cubed (i use homemade)
  • 4 large eggs
  • 1 1/2 cups milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • - cinnamon sugar

How To Make baked french toast

  • Step 1
    Line bottom of a very well greased 13x9 baking with the bread cubes.
  • Step 2
    In a blender, blend the eggs, milk, salt, vanilla & sugar.
  • Step 3
    Pour this over the bread & stir to combine.
  • Step 4
    Sprinkle with cinnamon sugar & dot with the butter.
  • Step 5
    Bake at 350' for about 35-45 minutes until golden.
  • Step 6
    Serve with maple syrup drizzled over it.
