bran cereal
3/4 c
1/2 c
applesauce, unsweetened
1/2 c
1/3 c
vegetable oil
2 large
11/2 c
2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
baking soda
1 c
dried cranberries
1 large
apple, peeled and chopped

How to Make Applesauce Bran Muffins


  • 1Preheat oven to 400 degrees.
  • 2Coat large muffin pan with cooking spray.
  • 3Whisk together, cereal, milk, applesauce, honey, oil and eggs in medium bowl until well blended. Let stand 5 minutes.
  • 4Combine flour, baking powder and baking soda; stir until well combined.
  • 5Add cranberries and apple to flour; toss to coat.
  • 6Add the bran mixture to the flour; fold until evenly moistended.
  • 7Divide batter evenly among muffin cups.
  • 8Bake 22 to 25 minutes. Cool 15 minutes before removing from pan.
  • 9Enjoy!
