Ingredients
- OATS
- 1 packet Quaker Oats sweet cinnamon
- 1 slice bread, torn into pieces
- milk or double cream/heavy cream
- APPLES
- 1/2 tart apple; peeled, cored, sliced
- 1 1/2 teaspoons warm spice mix
- 1/2 tablespoon unsalted butter, melted
- 1/2 tablespoon cornflour or corn starch
How To Make apple pie oats

Step 1Preheat oven to 350F/180C/160C fan. Line a small baking tray or dish with parchment paper.

Step 2To a small bowl, add the apple slices, melted butter, cornflour, and warm spices. Stir to coat.

Step 3Transfer apples to baking sheet. Bake apple slices for 12 minutes or until fork tender

Step 4When the apples are finished, to a microwave safe bowl, pour the oatmeal packet into a microwave-safe bowl and add the milk. Microwave for 1 minute on high, take out, and add apple slices to the bowl. Microwave for 1 more minute on high.

Step 5Stir in the torn bread pieces until combined. Top with cinnamon sugar if desired. Serve hot.
