Ingredients
- 1 - recipe basic sweet yeast dough
- 4 medium cooking apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 cup melted butter

Step 1Divide dough in half, press into 2 buttered 8" square pans. Press apple slices into dough, rounded edges up. Combine cinnamon and sugar and sprinkle over apples. Drizzle 2 T butter over the top of each coffee cake. Allow to stand in warm place until doubled in size. Bake at 350 degrees 40-45 min or until apples are tender and top well browned. Remove from pan onto wire rack to cool.
