yield 3 , 4, 5 or 6

Ingredients

  • 1 can refrigerated crescent rolls
  • 1/4 cup light brown sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 small apple, peeled and sliced

How To Make short and sweet apple danish

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 425 degrees
  • Step 2
Place six paper liners in a muffin pan, medium size cups
  • Step 3
Open and unroll the crescent rolls, press two together where there's a division, making a rectangle; I make six danish with the one can of rolls, so cut and patch together.
  • Step 4
    Combine brown sugar and cinnamon.
  • Step 5
Place about a tablespoon of sugar on each rectangle, and top with two slices of apple.
  • Step 6
Roll and press one end and flatten so it sits cut-side up in each muffin cup.
  • Step 7
Sprinkle any remaining sugar over the tops of the rolls.
  • Step 8
Bake for about thirty minutes, check to see if browning, add another five minutes or more until they are golden brown and bounce back when poked.
