We have apple trees and I am always looking for ways to incorporate them into recipes. We love this for breakfast or a snack. This coffee cake is moist and easy to make. Also great made with pears. Enjoy.

Ingredients
- 1 stick butter
- 1 1/2 cups brown sugar, firmly packed
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 teaspoons cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 2 cups granny smith apples, peeled, cored, diced
- CRUMBLE
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 4 teaspoons butter
How To Make apple coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350. Lightly grease and flour a 13 x 9 pan.

Step 2Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs 1 at a time. Sift dry ingredients together, add to wet mixture alternating with the sour cream, add vanilla. Fold in apples and pour into pan.

Step 3To make crumble, combine all ingredients together until it resembles small crumbs. Sprinkle over the top of the batter. Bake for 40 or until toothpick comes out clean. Cool, eat and enjoy!
