I came up with this recipe one morning when I had a bunch of apples and some leftover couscous from the night before, it turned out so yummy. Great for camping!

Ingredients

water
1 c
couscous, uncooked
3
apples, cored and diced
1/4 c
brown sugar, packed
2 Tbsp
cinnamon
1/4 c
butter
1/2 c
chopped pecans
1/4 c
raisins

How to Make Apple Cinnamon Couscous

Step-by-Step

  • 1Prepare couscous according to package directions.
  • 2In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. In a medium bowl combine apples, brown sugar and cinnamon until apples are coated. Add apples to butter in pan.
  • 3Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes or until apples are starting to get tender. Add pecans, cook a little longer. Add raisins and cooked couscous until combined. Top with additional brown sugar, if desired. Serve warm
