apple cinnamon couscous
I came up with this recipe one morning when I had a bunch of apples and some leftover couscous from the night before, it turned out so yummy. Great for camping!

Ingredients
- 1 cup water
- 1 cup couscous, uncooked
- 3 - apples, cored and diced
- 1/4 cup brown sugar, packed
- 2 tablespoons cinnamon
- 1/4 cup butter
- 1/2 cup chopped pecans
- 1/4 cup raisins
How To Make apple cinnamon couscous

Step 1Prepare couscous according to package directions.

Step 2In a large frying pan, melt butter over medium heat. In a medium bowl combine apples, brown sugar and cinnamon until apples are coated. Add apples to butter in pan.

Step 3Cover and cook on low for 10 minutes or until apples are starting to get tender. Add pecans, cook a little longer. Add raisins and cooked couscous until combined. Top with additional brown sugar, if desired. Serve warm
