1 mediumbite size pieces of apple; skin on or off
1/4 C cirish oats or rolled oats
2 Tbspshredded cheddar cheese
1 tspfresh finely chopped rosemary or 1/8 tsp. dried; or to taste
How to Make Apple, Cheddar, Rosemary Oatmeal
- Melt butter & saute apples in a small pot over medium heat until they start to soften up just a tad; about a minute or two.
- Then add oats & stir around a bit allowing them to get toasty which will create a nuttier depth of flavor. Toast for 2 minutes, stirring frequently & making sure they don't burn (you made need to add a touch more butter).
- Add water. Bring to a boil. Cook the oatmeal mixture according to package directions. Once cooked, take off heat & allow to sit for a minute.
- Stir in cheese & rosemary & enjoy :)
