This recipe was shared by a friend years ago. These "brownies" are so yummy and they smell so good while baking you won't want to wait for them to finish. Great for breakfast as well as dessert!

    baking powder
  • 1 tsp
  • 1 c
  • 3 c
    diced appled, i use granny smith
  • 1/2 c
    pecan pieces (optional)

How to Make Apple Brownies


  1. Mix dry ingredients. Make a well and add oil and eggs. Stir to blend.
  2. Mixture will be thick, almost like cookie dough.
  3. Add apples, and nuts if desired. Stir well.
  4. Spread mixture into 9x13 pan and bake at 325° for 1 hour. Cool. Cut into squares and enjoy!
