almond orange apricot cresent rolls

These little rolls are requested every year for our table on Thanksgiving and Christmas morning! This "yumm-o" recipe originally came from Rachel Ray. You can use other preserves if you wish to swap out the apricot/orange mix. As writen this recipe is so darn good I really wouldn't change a thing!! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1 package pillsbury cresent roll dough
  • 1/4 cup apricot preserves
  • 1/4 cup orange marmalade
  • 1 - egg
  • - splash of water
  • 1 tablespoon sesame seeds
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds

How To Make almond orange apricot cresent rolls

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to crescent roll directions Roll out dough and seperate into perforated triangles
  • Step 2
    Combine apricot preserves and marmalade in a small bowl, microwave for a few seconds to loosen the preserves. Beat egg in small bowl and add the slash of water to egg, mix well. ( this is for egg wash )
  • Step 3
    Spread a thin layer of the preserves on each triangle, add a few of the almond slices. Roll up the cresents in the usual way. Brush with the egg wash and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Bake to cresent package directions until a deep golden color. Serve warm!!
