Ingredients
- 12 ounces cream cheese
- 2 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 tablespoon grated orange rind
- 1 cup butter
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 4 - eggs
- 3 cups flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup milk
- 1 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 cup toasted almonds

Step 1The first four ingredients are the filling for these muffins. Beat filling; set aside. Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Add eggs, one at a time. Mix dry ingredients. Add flour and milk alternately. Add extract and almonds. Fill muffin tins 1/2 full. Spoon approximately 1 1/2 tablespoons in each muffin. Top filling with muffin batter. Bake for 15 - 20 minutes at 400 degrees. ENJOY!
