How to Make Sweet-n-Spicy Bacon
- 1Set oven to 400º.
- 2Mix sugar & peppers. Toss bacon thoroughly to coat.
- 3Line a jelly roll pan w/heavy duty foil. Place a cooling rack over the foil & lay the bacon on the rack, being careful not to overlap the bacon (this will slow cooking).
- 4Place pan in oven, even if it's not fully heated yet. Bake at least 15 minutes or until desired doneness. I cook mine just over 20 minutes.
** Cooling rack optional-bacon can go directly on the foil. Personally, I prefer the rack.
** I use thin sliced bacon... if using thick bacon add at least 5-6 minutes or so to cooking time.
** Vary the spices to suit your tastes.
