Ingredients
- 1/2 cup brown sugar, lightly packed
- 1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper, fresh ground
- 1 pound bacon
How To Make sweet-n-spicy bacon

Step 1Set oven to 400º.

Step 2Mix sugar & peppers. Toss bacon thoroughly to coat.

Step 3Line a jelly roll pan w/heavy duty foil. Place a cooling rack over the foil & lay the bacon on the rack, being careful not to overlap the bacon (this will slow cooking).

Step 4Place pan in oven, even if it's not fully heated yet. Bake at least 15 minutes or until desired doneness. I cook mine just over 20 minutes.

Step 5NOTES: ** Cooling rack optional-bacon can go directly on the foil. Personally, I prefer the rack. ** I use thin sliced bacon... if using thick bacon add at least 5-6 minutes or so to cooking time. ** Vary the spices to suit your tastes. E N J O Y
