Ingredients
- 2 tablespoons pepper jelly
- 2 teaspoons red or white wine vinegar
- 12 slices thick bacon (regular thickness works, too)
- fresh ground pepper, as desired
- 1 teaspoon raw sugar (I use a little packet from my local coffee shop!)
How To Make spicy sweet glazed bacon

Step 1Heat oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil.

Step 2Place bacon in single layer on baking sheet and bake until it is crispy - about 20-30 minutes. Depending on thickness of bacon, it might take a little longer.

Step 3Meanwhile, as bacon cooks, mix together jelly and vinegar. Set aside.

Step 4Remove from oven and place crisply cooked bacon on a cooling rack over another piece of foil and brush with jelly/vinegar mixture.

Step 5Sprinkle with some raw sugar and/or a grind of black pepper to serve.
