Ingredients
- 1 pound sausage -jimmy dean- hot or mild
- 1- 8 oz - cream cheese
- 1 - egg white
- 2 packages crescent rolls
- - poppy seeds optional
How To Make sausage crescent nuggets

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees - In medium skillet, lightly brown sausage and drain. While it is still hot add cream cheese and stir until cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Cool completely.

Step 2Divide crescent rolls into two rectangles(a total of four). Form log of sausage mixture lengthwise down center of each rectangle. Fold over the long sides of pastry to cover sausage.

Step 3Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, seam side down. Brush with egg white,sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake for 20 minutes until crust is golden. When cooled slice into 1 1/2 inch slices.
