This is one of my favorite appetizers or you can serve it at breakfast. So easy to make.

1 lb
sausage -jimmy dean- hot or mild
1- 8 oz
cream cheese
egg white
2 pkg
crescent rolls
poppy seeds optional

How to Make Sausage Crescent Nuggets


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees - In medium skillet, lightly brown sausage and drain. While it is still hot add cream cheese and stir until cheese is melted and mixture is creamy. Cool completely.
  • 2Divide crescent rolls into two rectangles(a total of four). Form log of sausage mixture lengthwise down center of each rectangle. Fold over the long sides of pastry to cover sausage.
  • 3Place on an ungreased cookie sheet, seam side down. Brush with egg white,sprinkle with poppy seeds. Bake for 20 minutes until crust is golden. When cooled slice into 1 1/2 inch slices.
