- 1 pound tennessee pride country hot sausage
- 1 pound tennessee pride pork sausage
- 2 cups half and half
- 1/2 stick butter
- 1/2 cup wondra quick mixing flour
- 1/2 teaspoon beef base
- 2 tablespoons chopped shallots
- 1/4 teaspoon chopped garlic
- 1/4 teaspoon sage
- 1 teaspoon parsley flakes
- - fresh ground pepper
How To Make sausage and gravy

Step 1In a large skillet,brown sausage, shallots garlic, parsley flakes, sage papper. and set aside

Step 2In another skillet, melt the butter and slowly add the wondra quick mixing flour until a thick roux is formed. becareful not to burn. slowly add in the milk and beef base untill a athick gray is formed.

Step 3Add sausage and spice mixture and blend well. add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over buttermilk biscuits.
