tennessee pride pork sausage
2 c
half and half
1/2 stick
1/2 c
wondra quick mixing flour
1/2 tsp
beef base
2 Tbsp
chopped shallots
1/4 tsp
chopped garlic
1/4 tsp
1 tsp
parsley flakes
fresh ground pepper

How to Make Sausage and Gravy


  • 1In a large skillet,brown sausage, shallots garlic, parsley flakes, sage papper. and set aside
  • 2In another skillet, melt the butter and slowly add the wondra quick mixing flour until a thick roux is formed. becareful not to burn. slowly add in the milk and beef base untill a athick gray is formed.
  • 3Add sausage and spice mixture and blend well. add salt and pepper to taste. Serve hot over buttermilk biscuits.
