One yummy pie! I've been making versions of this forever it seems. It's great cold too, so makes for a great picnic or potluck. Sometimes I change the meats, but this version is my families favorite! It's also great to serve for brunch! Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 - 1/2 pound loose bulk sausage
  • 1/2 medium red bell pepper, chopped
  • 1/2 medium onion, chopped
  • 1/2 pound mozzarella, shredded
  • 24 slices pepperoni slices
  • 3 - egg, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon dry oregano
  • 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
  • 1/2 tablespoon basil paste
  • 2 tablespoons flour
  • 1 - 12 ounces can, evaporated milk
  • 1 - 9 - inch unbaked pie shell - deep dish

How To Make ~ pizza quiche pie ~

  • Step 1
    Preheat oven to 350 degree F. In a skillet, brown sausage, onion and pepper. Breaking apart sausage as it cooks. Drain if needed. In a large bowl, beat eggs and mix in, milk, seasonings, flour. Making sure there are no lumps of flour.
  • Step 2
    In the bottom of pie crust, add the cooked sausage mixture. Next, half the cheese ans pepperoni. Pour egg mixture over this and sprinkle with remaining cheese and pepperoni.
  • Step 3
    Place on a sheet pan and bake for 40 - 45 minutes or until a knife comes out clean. I let set up for a few minutes, then cut and serve.
