not your typical oven baked bacon
Most people agree that bacon is a food group unto its own. I'd grow my own if I could find bacon seeds! This bacon is crispy and delicious. This small difference of dredging it through a combo of flour and black pepper takes bacon to a new level. I hope you try it.

- 1 pound bacon of your choice
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
How To Make not your typical oven baked bacon

Step 1Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Place rack in the middle position.

Step 2Prepare a cookie sheet by covering with parchment paper.

Step 3Combine flour and black pepper and spread evenly on a large plate.

Step 4Dredge bacon through the flour mixture shaking any excess back onto the plate. Place bacon flat onto the parchment paper.

Step 5Bake in oven for 20 minutes turning bacon halfway through.
