another recipe from one of my favorite author cookbook.

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 pounds ground pork shoulder
  • 2 tablespoons grade b maple syrup
  • 1 teaspoon dried sage
  • 1 small shallot finely chopped
  • 1 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon freshly cracked black pepper
  • 1 teaspoon salt

How To Make homemade maple breakfast sausage

  • Step 1
    Combine all the ingrediants an wrap tightly with plastic wrap. chill at least one hour or up to overnight in refrigerator.
  • Step 2
    when ready to cook, form mixture into small patties about 1/4 in thick an 3 in wide; cook in skillet over med hi heat forv about 4 min on one side then flip cook 4 min on otherside or until desired doneness ummm ummmm good
