here in the deep south we are known for a good breakfast I think this is one of the best.

1/2 lb
breakfast sausages crumbled save the grease
1/2 c
sauteed onions
1 c
1/2 and 1/2 cream
2 Tbsp
melted butter
roux equal parts flour and margarine cooked
a dash of nutmeg
salt and pepper to taste

How to Make Good old Ga Biscuits & Gravy


  • 1In sauce pan, add sausage, grease, onions, cream, butter salt, & pepper. Simmer until cream start boil Add the roux slowly until you reach the texture of sauce you like. Pour over halved biscuits. to die for. ENJOY
