- 3 tablespoons unsalted butter
- 1 cup finely chopped onion
- 3 cups finely chopped, cooked corned beef
- 3 cups chopped, cooked yukon gold potatoes
- - salt and pepper
- - chopped fresh parsley
How To Make corned beef hash

Step 1HEAT BUTTER IN A LARGE SKILLET ( CAST IRON) IF POSSIBLE .ON MED. HEAT, ADD ONIONS AND COOK A FEW MIN.UNTIL TRANSLUCENT

Step 2MIX IN THE CHOPPED CORNED BEEF AND POTATOES ,SPREAD OUT EVENLY OVER PAN.INCREASE THE HEAT TO HIGH OR MED. HIGH AND PRESS DOWN ON THE MIXTURE WITH A METAL SPATULA.

Step 3DO NOT STIR THE POTATOES AND CORNED BEEF, BUT LET THEM BROWN.IF YOU HEAR SIZZLING, THIS IS GOOD

Step 4USE THE SPATULA TO PEAK UNDERNEATH AND SEE IF THEY ARE BROWING, IF NICELY BROWNED USE THE SPATULA TO FLIP SECTIONS OVER IN THE PAN SO THAT THEY BROWN ON THE OTHER SIDE. PRESS DOWN AGAIN WITH SPATULA,IF STICKING TOO MUCH YOU CAN ADD A LITTLE MORE BUTTER TO THE PAN. CONTINUE TO COOK IN THIS MANNER UNTIL THE POTATOES AND CORNED BEEF ARE NICELY BROWNED.

Step 5REMOVE FROM HEAT ,STIR IN CHOPPED PARSLEY.ADD PLENTY OF FRESH GROUND BLACK PEPPER AND SALT TO TASTE.
