biscuits and gravy
My friend Kina learned to make this from her southern grandma...while I don't make the homemade biscuits, it is equally great with the store purchased variety.

Ingredients
- 1 pound bob evans regular sausage
- 1 stick butter or margarine
- - flour
- - milk
- - fresh ground pepper
- 10-20 - canned buttermilk biscuits
How To Make biscuits and gravy
-
Step 1Fry sausage, do not drain grease. Add the stick butter and melt, stirring around the pan. Then sprinkle flour over the sausage, and stir to coat the sausage so you don't see white flour in the pan. Then cover with milk. Stir as it thickens. Tear apart biscuits, cover with sausage mix and enjoy!
-
Step 2Note: If it gets too thick, add a very little water at a time to the consistency. Do not add more milk.
