Ingredients
- 1 cup whole grain pancake or baking mix
- 1/4 cup milk
- 4 - small apples
- 1 cup grated cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup walnut pieces
How To Make mexican breakfast galette

Step 1Mix pancake mix and milk in a bowl

Step 2Use your hands to knead the mix and form a ball. Use dry pancake mix to reduce stickiness

Step 3Sprinkle pancake mix on a baking sheet, then roll out the dough into a 1/4 inch circle

Step 4Core the apples, then slice very thin. Use a food processor if possible

Step 5Mix together the apples, cheese and walnuts. You can use the bowl you used for the dough

Step 6Heap the mixture on the dough, then fold over the edges to form a galette

Step 7If desired, brush milk onto the crust edges to improve browning. You can use your fingers

Step 8Bake for 20 minutes
