How to Make Japanese Pancakes
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees. Melt 1/2 stick of butter in metal pie pan or round cake pan in the oven. (Butter melts quicker and more evenly if cut into tablespoon size pieces)
- Mix flour, milk and egg in small bowl. Pour in baking pan after butter has completly melted; place in oven. Cook for 12-14 minutes. It will puff up and be golden brown.
- Transfer pankcake to plate. Coat lightly with yogurt. Cover with fruit (works bettter if you chop your fruit into smaller pieces); then sprinkle with powdered sugar on top.
