Early in my professional life I taught 5th grade. The 4th grade teacher, Mrs Wisniewski, always made this delicious fruit torte and brought it in for the teachers. It is great for a large crowd for a breakfast treat or a dessert served with coffee! My favorite filling is apple but you can mix this up with your own favorite fruit.
