Ingredients
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 2 apples, peeled and cored - sliced 1/4" thick
- 1/4 cup flour
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- pinch of salt
- 1 tablespoon powdered sugar
- oil for frying
How To Make dutch apple rings

Step 1Peel and core apples and slice into rings. Apple rings should be sliced 1/4 inch thick.

Step 2Mix together sugar and cinnamon and sprinkle over apples.

Step 3Mix together flour, milk, egg, baking powder and salt - adding additional milk if too thick.

Step 4Dredge apple rings in batter coating both sides and fry in a cast iron skillet -turning when first side is golden brown. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with powdered sugar.
