- 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts or pecans
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 3 - grated apples

Step 1Mix eggs and buttermilk together. In second bowls, whisk flour, salt, sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, and ginger Mix wet and dry together.

Step 3Drop by tblsp onto hot griddle. Sprinkle with nuts. When brown, turn over and cook 2-3 minutes more. Serve with maple syrup.
