Sweet and delicious this is a whole new take on grapefruit. Maybe not exactly the healthiest way to eat grapefruit but it is delicious especially if you like grapefruit to begin with.

Ingredients For broiled ruby reds

  • 2
    ruby red grapefruit, halved
  • 1/4 c
    brown sugar
  • 1/4 tsp
  • 1/4 c
    shredded coconut
  • 4
    maraschino cherries

How To Make broiled ruby reds

  • 1
    Cut around each section with a grapefruit knife.
  • 2
    Combine brown sugar and cinnamon and spread over grapefruit.
  • 3
    Broil until juice is bubbling. Sprinkle with shredded coconut and broil until coconut is toasted. Add cherries to the centers of grapefruit.
