  • 4 - ruby red grapefruits
  • 2 tablespoons sweet sherry
  • 4 tablespoons brown sugar

How To Make broiled grapefruit

  • Step 1
    Cut each grapefruit in half (always perpendicular to the segments), then section with a sharp knife, removing any visible seeds.
  • Step 2
    Sprinkle the halves with the sherry and brown sugar. Arrange on a baking sheet and place under a preheated broiler. Cook briefly, only until well heated and the sugar caramelizes. Serve immediately.
