- STREUSEL TOPPING
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup brown sugar
- 2/3 cup all purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
- COFFEE CAKE
- 1/2 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup sugar (may use 1/2 brown sugar)
- 2 cups all purpose flour
- 2 - eggs
- 2 tablespoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2/3 cup sour cream
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 2 - large peaches, sliced (ripened)
- 1 cup fresh blackberries (rinsed and dried)
- - powdered sugar
How To Make blackberry-peach coffee cake

Step 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Prepare Streusel by mixing together until of crumb consistency. Set aside.

Step 2Beat butter and sugar; add eggs one at a time. Combine flour, salt, and baking powder. Add alternately with sour cream. Stir in vanilla. Pour a batter into 9” springform pan. Top with fruit and then crumb mixture. Bake at 350? for 1 hour and 10 min. (toothpick inserted in center will NOT come out clean because fuit keeps it very moist). Center of cake should be set. Cool completely and dust with powdered sugar.
