all-purpose flour
1/4 c
2 1/2 tsp
baking powder
1 tsp
ground cinnamon
1/4 tsp
1/2 c
walnuts chopped
1 c
1/4 c
vegetable oil
1 small
tart green apple, peeled and chopped
1/4 c
golden raisins

How to Make Apple Raisin Muffins


  • 1Heat oven to 400F.
  • 2Grease and flour a 12-cup muffin tin or line with paper liners.
  • 3Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, cinnamon, salt and walnuts in a medium bowl; make a well in the center.
  • 4In another bowl, mix milk, eggs, oil, apple and raisins in small bowl.
  • 5Pour mixture into well. Mix batter until just moistened; do not over mix.
  • 6Fill prepared muffin tins 3/4 full.
  • 7Bake for 18-20 minutes or until muffins test done. Cool in pan on wire rack.
