My husband loves omlettes. I usually use leftover steak when i make this. You could easily cook it fresh. I just throw in what i have in the fridge.

    cooked steak..sliced thin
  • 1 medium
    onion chopped
  • ·
    fresh sliced mushrooms
  • 1 clove
    garlic minced
  • ·
    salt and pepper
  • ·
    salsa of choice
  • 1-2 Tbsp
    olive oil
  • 1 c
    shredded cheddar cheese

How to Make Western Steak Omlette


  1. saulte onions, mushrooms, and garlic in the olive oil until they begin to carmalized..you can add the steak to heat it up also
  2. Mix eggs and milk
  3. Cook eggs in a small non stick skillet on medium heat..when almost done top with1/2 of cheese steak onion and mushrooms and more cheese..Turn off heat put lid on until cheese is melted. Slid on plate and top with salsa
