Ingredients

  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 3 - eggs, lightly beaten
  • - salt to taste
  • - freshly ground black pepper to taste
  • FILLING SUGGESTIONS
  • - cheese, shredded
  • - cooked crabmeat, shrimp or chicken
  • - cooked pepper, asparagus, mushrooms, broccoli

How To Make three-egg omelet

  • Step 1
    This omelet can be served plain or filled with one or more of the suggested fillings.
  • Step 2
    Melt butter in 10\" skillet over medium heat.
  • Step 3
    Add eggs, lift cooked edges with spatula to allow uncooked eggs to flow under cooked portion.
  • Step 4
    Season with salt and pepper.
  • Step 5
    Shake pan to loosen omelet.
  • Step 6
    Cook until set.
  • Step 7
    Place desired fillings on 1/2 of omelet.
  • Step 8
    Fold in half.
  • Step 9
    Turn out onto plate.
