I love french toast and have tried several varieties to making this sweet and simple delicious breakast. This one is my favorite!

Ingredients
- 1 - loaf french bread- cut into 2
- 4 - eggs- beaten
- 1/2 cup heavy cream
- 1 tablespoon cinnamon
- 1 tablespoon sugar
- 8 ounces softened cream cheese
- 1 teaspoon honey
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
How To Make stuffed french toast

Step 1In shallow bowl, beat together eggs, cinnamon, sugar, and cream. Set aside. In separate bowl, beat cream cheese, honey, and sugar. Stir in pecans(opt).

Step 2Cut a pocket approx 1 1/2" deep into each slice of bread. Stuff 1TBS of cream cheese filling into center of each slice. Coat sides of bread with egg mixture and fry in hot oiled skillet until golden brown on both sides.

Step 3Top each slice with powered sugar and/or fresh fruit. Drizzle with honey.
