Ingredients For skinny chocolate chip banana muffins

    wheat flour
  • 1 tsp
    baking soda
  • 1/4 tsp
    salt
  • 1 c
    mashed bananas (3 medium bananas)
  • 1 tsp
    vanilla
  • 1 tsp
    cinnamon, optional
  • 4 tsp
    honey
  • 1 tsp
    olive oil
  • 1 lg
    egg
  • 1/2 c
    plain non-fat Greek yogurt
  • 1 Tbsp
    soy or almond milk
  • 1/2 c
    mini chocolate chips (you can substitute with chopped nuts)

How To Make skinny chocolate chip banana muffins

  • Dry ingredients in a mixing bowl.

    Preheat oven to 350 F. Spray a 12-cup standard muffin tin or 24-cup mini muffin tin with nonstick cooking spray. First, in a bowl whisk dry ingredients: flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt.
  • Mashed bananas, honey, oil, vanilla, milk, Greek yogurt, and egg added to a bowl.

    Then, in a large bowl mash bananas. Next, add honey, oil, vanilla, milk, Greek yogurt, and egg. Mix until well combined and smooth. You can use an electric mixer or whisk by hand.
  • Adding dry ingredients to wet ingredients.
