I received this recipe from a friend years ago. We enjoy when we are on the go, because you can hold in your hand and eat.

6 large
hard boiled eggs
egg beaten
20 oz
bulk pork sausage
1 c
plain bread crumbs

How to Make Scots Eggs


  • 1Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2Peel eggs.
  • 3Evenly divide sausage for 6 eggs,and pat around hard cooked eggs. Make sure egg is completely covered, and sealed.
  • 4In a bowl place the beaten egg.
  • 5Then roll each wrapped egg in beaten egg, and then in bread crumbs. Place on rack in roasting pan. Bake 50 to 60 min., or until sausage in cooked.
