This recipe was given to me by one of my very best college friends! I have made it so many times over the years...and think of her every time! Thank you dear, Kathy!

Ingredients

  • 1 - unbaked 9" deep dish pie crust
  • 1 pound bulk sausage...your preference!
  • 1 - onion, chopped
  • 1/2 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese, plus a little more!
  • 3 tablespoons flour
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon pepper
  • 3 - eggs, beaten
  • 1 teaspoon Worchestershire sauce
  • 1 1/4 cups milk

How To Make sausage quiche

  • Step 1
Preheat oven to 400 degrees. Line a cookie sheet (with sides) with foil. Place the unbaked pie crust on top.
  • Step 2
Brown together the sausage and chopped onion, drain.
  • Step 3
Place in the unbaked pie crust. Top with the cheddar cheese. Then sprinkle the flour on top.
  • Step 4
In a separate bowl, mix together well the beaten eggs, salt, pepper, Worshestershire sauce and milk. Carefully pour over the flour. Be sure to not overfill!
  • Step 5
Bake for approximately 40 minutes until set.
  • Step 6
Helpful hint! Brown the sausage and onion together the night before. Then just warm the mixture up in the microwave the next morning before assembling the quiche. Bake and enjoy!
