Great do ahead brunch item. Great for Christmas, New Years and Easter eve.

Ingredients

  • 2 cups herb seasoned croutons
  • 1 pound sausage, cooked and drained
  • 1 cup sharp cheese, grated
  • 6 - eggs
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1 tablespoon dry mustard

How To Make sausage egg brunch

  • Step 1
    Layer croutons, sausage and cheese in a greased 9" by 13" baking dish
  • Step 2
    Beat eggs well. Add milk and mustard and mix well. Pour over sausage mixture.
  • Step 3
    Cover and refrigerate overnight.
  • Step 4
    Bake at 375 degrees for 45 minutes. Let stand 10 minutes before cutting and serving.
  • Step 5
    Variations: Bacon, chipped ham or chipped dried beef may be used instead of sausage. When using bacon, fry and drain.
