This recipe came from my Uncle Wilbur. I have used this for breakfast, dinner and taken it as an appetizer.

Ingredients For sausage bread

  • 1
    loaf frozen bread dough
  • 1 lb
    sausage
  • 3
    eggs, beaten
  • 1/3 c
    parmesan cheese
  • onions, chopped
  • peppers, chopped
  • cheddar cheese

How To Make sausage bread

  • 1
    Set out bread with enough time to thaw and come to room temperature but not starting to rise. The dough can also be set in the refrigerator the night before.

    Roll out the dough into a long rectangle. Then layer on eggs, parmesan cheese, sausage, onions, peppers and cheddar cheese.

    Pull the sides of the dough together and seal. Cut a few little slits in the top. Bake 20-30 minutes in a 350º oven.
