Got this recipe from a friend years ago! Fantastic breakfast!

Ingredients

MIX TOGETHER:

1/2 c
milk
1/4 c
flour

BEAT INTO BOWL:

2
eggs
2 Tbsp
sugar
1 tsp
salt
1/2 tsp
vanilla extract

BEFORE ADDING TO PAN/CASSEROLE DISH:

2 Tbsp
margarine or butter

How to Make Pannukaka

Step-by-Step

  • 1Melt 2 TBSP margarine in OVEN-SAFE skillet or 8" X 8" casserole dish.
  • 2Pour batter into pan.
  • 3Place oven on 400 degrees F Preheat. Place skillet/dish with batter into oven WHILE preheating.
  • 4Check skillet/dish after 10 minutes. Turn oven down 25 degrees; repeat this step of turning down the oven until the done (golden brown on top).
  • 5Serve with powdered sugar or syrup. Or whatever topping suits you! My husband likes peanut butter, but I'm certain fruit toppings would be grand, too!
