I made this breakfats dish last year for Chistmas morning. It is so easy that I could enjoy the gift-giving without being worried about burning my omlettes.

After the holidyas I have found that there are lots of mornings that I have better things to do then cook 4 individual omlettes.

How to Make Oven Baked Omelette

Step-by-Step

  1. Melt the butter in a 13 X 9 glass baking dish.
  2. In a large mixing bowl beat together the eggs, milk, salt and sour cream.
  3. Pour the mixture over the butter.
  4. Stir in the onions and top with cheese.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 35 minutes or until the eggs are set, but moist.
