oven baked omelette

I made this breakfats dish last year for Chistmas morning. It is so easy that I could enjoy the gift-giving without being worried about burning my omlettes. After the holidyas I have found that there are lots of mornings that I have better things to do then cook 4 individual omlettes. Enjoy!

Ingredients

  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 18 - eggs
  • 1 cup milk
  • 2 teaspoons salt
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1/4 cup green onions, chopped
  • 1/3 cup grated sharp cheddar cheese

How To Make oven baked omelette

  • Step 1
    Melt the butter in a 13 X 9 glass baking dish.
  • Step 2
    In a large mixing bowl beat together the eggs, milk, salt and sour cream.
  • Step 3
    Pour the mixture over the butter.
  • Step 4
    Stir in the onions and top with cheese.
  • Step 5
    Bake in a preheated oven at 350 for 35 minutes or until the eggs are set, but moist.
