open faced cheesy egg sandwich
2eggs cooked how ever you like
2 slicebacon, ham, sausage
1 tspbutter, melted
1/2 cmilk or cream
1/2 ccheddar cheese or what you have on hand
How to Make open faced cheesy egg sandwich
- make basic white sauce; melt butter add flour and stir till smooth, add milk stir add cheese stir til smooth and thick. This amount will be enough for 2-3 sandwiches
- cook bacon, ham or sausage and set aside. I used leftovers of bacon.
- cook eggs anyway you want. While eggs are cooking split english muffin and toast. Butter muffins on each muffin add 1 slice of tomato,1 egg, 1/2 cheese sauce and top with bacon.
- I serve open face. If using ham or sausage, place meat ontop of egg then add cheese sauce. This recipe is great to customize to any leftovers you have
