reading all the comments on the magic crust custard pie made me play around and came up with this from everyones comments, my family and I loved it. I made it in a 12 inch round cake pan, it was thick and fluffy and very tasty.

Ingredients

  • 12
    eggs
  • 8 oz
    cream cheese, softened
  • 1 c
    ham, chopped
  • 1 c
    mushroom slices
  • 6
    green onions, chopped
  • 1
    green bell pepper, diced
  • 1 c
    parmesan cheese
  • 1 c
    velveta, melted
  • 1/2 stick
    butter, melted
  • 1/2 c
    bisquick
  • 2 1/2 c
    milk
  • 1/4 - 1/2 c
    diced jalapeno peppers

How to Make magic crust cheesie breakfast pie

Step-by-Step

  1. sautee the ham, mushrooms, onions, jalapenos, and peppers and any other vegtable you would like, until tender. set aside.
  2. in a medium sized bowl beat cream cheese till smooth, add eggs one at a time, beating after each.
  3. add milk & melted butter, beat well.
  4. add parmesan and melted velveta,and bisquick, mix well.
  5. stir in the vegtables. and pour into a buttered or greased large cake pan.
  6. Bake in preheated oven at 350* for about an hour or until lightly golden browned and set. let cool about 10 minutes before cutting. serve with salsa and biscuits or toast and enjoy 8]
  7. I think adding some cheddar to this would be great also .
