Ingredients
- 4 cups rich chicken stock, homemade is the best or add chicken bouillion to store bought
- 2 large eggs
- 2 thick sourdough or any kind of crusty bread
- butter
How To Make fried egg on toast in broth

Step 1Place the chicken stock in a saucepan and heat over medium heat until hot.

Step 2Toast the bread and spread butter on one side.

Step 3Add butter to a frying pan and fry the eggs, turning once, keeping the yolk runny.

Step 4Place the bread in the middle of a wide bowl. Top with the fried egg.

Step 5Pour the hot broth around the bread.
