I personally haven't prepared this but have had it several times at our Bible Study Brunches. Posted as she wrote it.

Ingredients

  • 1 (9 inch) - pie crust
  • 4 - eggs, separated
  • 1 cup half and half or 1/2 cup evaporated milk and 1/2 cup water
  • 1 cup mild cheese (swiss, monterey jack, mozzarella)
  • 1/2 cup mushrooms, cooked
  • - nutmeg

How To Make fluffy quiche

  • Step 1
    Combine egg yolks, half and half and cheese in a blender to combine.
  • Step 2
    Beat egg whites until stiff.
  • Step 3
    Fold blender mixture into stiff egg whites.
  • Step 4
    Pour into unbaked pie shell.
  • Step 5
    Pour mushrooms in evenly and sprinkle with nutmeg.
  • Step 6
    Bake at 325 degrees fir 45 minutes to 1 hour or until toothpick comes out clean.
