This is the only way I will prepare hard boiled eggs! The eggshell pretty much just slides right off!

  • large eggs
  • water to cover all eggs completely
  • 1 Tbsp
    oil, your choice
  • tray of ice cubes

  • Gentle Boil

    Select a pot large enough to lay the eggs in a single layer. First, bring the water and oil to a gentle boil.
  • Adding the eggs to the water.

    Next, gently add the eggs one at a time to the boiling water, using a large, slotted spoon.
  • Boiling for 13 minutes.

    Boil 13 minutes for hard boiled eggs. Boil 10 minutes for medium. Boil 3 to 6 for soft boiled.
  • Ice bath

    Prepare an ice bath with cold water and ice cubes, using enough water to completely cover the eggs.

    Remove the eggs with a slotted spoon and place into the ice bath. Allow to sit for 10 minutes.
  • Easy peel!

    That's it! Your eggs will peel with ease! No need for an egg cooker!
