Dutch babies make an easy weekend breakfast or brunch. I think of them as somewhere between a baked omelette and pancakes.
Delicious with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

Ingredients

  • 1 c
    whipping cream
  • 1/2 c
    all purpose flour
  • 9
    large eggs
  • 1/2 tsp
    salt to taste

How to Make Dutch Babies

Step-by-Step

  1. Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
  2. In a large bowl whip eggs, whipping cream and salt, until fluffy. Fold in flour.
  3. Pour mixture into four lightly buttered/oiled 9-inch cake pans.
  4. Bake at 450 degrees F - 15 to 20 minutes.
  5. Serve warm. Good with sliced seasonal berries or warmed fruit pie filling. yummy
