Dutch babies make an easy weekend breakfast or brunch. I think of them as somewhere between a baked omelette and pancakes.
Delicious with fresh strawberries and a sprinkle of powdered sugar.

whipping cream
1/2 c
all purpose flour
large eggs
1/2 tsp
salt to taste

How to Make Dutch Babies


  • 1Preheat oven to 450 degrees F
  • 2In a large bowl whip eggs, whipping cream and salt, until fluffy. Fold in flour.
  • 3Pour mixture into four lightly buttered/oiled 9-inch cake pans.
  • 4Bake at 450 degrees F - 15 to 20 minutes.
  • 5Serve warm. Good with sliced seasonal berries or warmed fruit pie filling. yummy
