  • 2 tablespoons olive oil
  • 1 medium onion diced
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 8 ounces ground sausage
  • 2 cups marinara sauce
  • 4 duck eggs
  • 1/4 cup fresh basil chopped
  • grated fresh parmesan

How To Make duck eggs in sausage marinara purgatory

  • Step 1
    Add oil to a large skillet. Add the onion and garlic and cook 3 minutes. Stir in the sausage and cook until sausage is no longer pink. Add the Marinara sauce and bring to a simmer.
  • Step 2
    Make 4 wells into the sauce and crack the eggs into the wells. Place a lid on the pan and cook until eggs are set
  • Step 3
    Serve topped with basil and sprinkled with parmesan.
